Ghost World is about girls… strange girls. The blonde one is less strange than the not-blond one but still quite odd. How’s that for a synopsis! I bet you feel like you’ve read it already. Sorry, I’ll move on. This is a new edition of Daniel Clowes’s classic comic. The original release weighs in at 80 pages which makes this 288 page extended hard cover edition very generous.
The extra pages cover the making of both the comic and the film. There are scripts, posters, merchandise, in fact pretty much everything you wanted to know about Ghost World with notes by the man himself. He’s also drawn some new strips and written a new introduction. If you don’t own it (or Lord forbid haven’t read it) now would seem the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself…
